Usui and Holy Fire III Reiki Healing Energy
The sacredness of energy healing is very precious to me. It embodies the purest essence of love, it offers healing on all levels, of mind, body and soul.
I offer Reiki as a stand alone treatment session or as part of a blended session of Craniosacral therapy, Somatoemotional therapy and/or Reflexology.
As well, I teach both Usui Reiki Level 1 - Master/Teacher, and Usui Holy Fire III Level 1 - Master/Teacher.
What is the difference between traditional Usui Reiki and Holy Fire Reiki?
The differences lie in the way the training is taught and how the student receives the "Attunement". In traditional Reiki, we have a ceremony called an Attunement for each level. This where the Reiki teacher is close to the student to administer a type of energetic ceremony with the Sacred Reiki Symbols. There is some very gentle touch in the head area, shoulders, upper back and hands. In the Holy Fire tradition, this ceremony is called an "Ignition" or "Placement". During the Ignition, the teacher steps back, the ceremony is completely administered energetically, while the student is in a meditative state.
Speaking from my own experience of receiving the Holy Fire Ignitions, I felt a stronger healing effect for many days after at a deep soul level. When I received the traditional Usui Reiki Attunement, I also felt the effects at all levels, yet it was gentler. Perhaps that is just what I needed at that time in my journey of healing, awareness and transformation.

A little bit more about Reiki...
Reiki is used in the Shingon and Tendai Buddhist traditions. Mikao Usui rediscovered Reiki through a spiritual experience, and expanded on this ancient Buddhist manual healing practice in Japan on March 1922.
This Japanese technique reduces stress, invites relaxation and promotes well being, is simple, powerful yet gentle and never causes harm. Anyone can learn to use Healing Energy, it's infinitely abundant.
William Lee Rand has really made Reiki more mainstream all over the world. He was spiritually guided to evolve this beautiful practice in 2014, when he introduced Holy Fire Reiki.
I find the Holy Fire experience more intense, it helps you to reveal your authentic self, by helping you to heal the dormant, unhealed parts of yourself, while feeling loved and supported. It is a stronger energy to receive, and also stronger healing experiences when you take the training to learn to share Reiki with others.

All energy healing comes from Ki regardless of its lineage. Also it beautifully compliments any other therapy or medical treatment, by supporting and speeding up the healing process. You don’t have to be ill to benefit from receiving this loving energy.

What to expect during a session:
A Reiki treatment involves resting fully clothed on a massage table or seated in a chair. During a session, if you are comfortable with touch, I may place my hands on your shoulders, head and feet, or I may also hover my hands over the body without contact. While each individual will have a different experience, most people feel a calming peaceful effect, some tingling, hot or cold sensations. It is very common to surrender so deeply into relaxation that you may fall asleep. You may find that the deeper healing takes place after the treatment session. The changes can be noticed during the session, and several days after. You always have a choice to continue to work with what comes up for you,
